Pastor Baron Anthony Sovory has a passion for people and a desire to spread the Word of God in a relevant, effective, and clear way. Born in Los Angeles, California to Pastor Allen and Rosalyn Sovory of Louisiana and Michigan, he grew up in a home of ministry, watching his father serve both in church pastoral ministry, and as a conference evangelist.
He counts his ministry as a privilege knowing that it is nothing but the blood of Jesus and His righteousness that he stands today. “I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service” -1Tim. 1:12 His joy and purpose is to impact the people of God with a passion and infectious intensity that will cause people to live lives of biblical faith, and to see all people live their God given purpose.
He attended Oakwood University (Huntsville, AL) and in May 2000 received his Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Theology. Following his graduation in May 2000 he received a call to the Southeastern Conference and served the Kansas Ave SDA Church for 3 1/2 years before furthering his education at Andrews University Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, MI.
